Peanut Butter Chocolate Brownies
Hi — I’m Trish from Mom On Timeout. Today I’m sharing one of my all-time favorite treats: brownies with chocolate and peanut butter. I’m a devoted fan of combining those two flavors, and these brownies join a long list of beloved desserts that bring them together.
Ingredients Needed:
- Chocolate: a mix of bittersweet, semi-sweet, and milk chocolate provides depth and creaminess.
- Peanut Butter: creamy peanut butter for the frosting and peanut butter chips folded into the batter.
- Dry ingredients: all-purpose flour and a pinch of salt.
- Marshmallows: miniature marshmallows add little pockets of sweet, gooey texture throughout the brownies.
- Flavoring: vanilla extract enhances the chocolate and peanut butter flavors.
- Sugar: granulated sugar to sweeten the batter.
- Eggs: two eggs for structure and moisture.
- Butter: unsalted butter to melt with the bittersweet chocolate and add richness.
How To Make Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownies
These Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownies are moist, rich, and satisfyingly decadent. The marshmallows create little airy pockets through the brownies; when they surface near the top they become filled with a velvety milk chocolate and peanut butter frosting. A quick trip to the fridge sets the frosting, and you end up with a tray of seriously indulgent brownies.
- Start with a basic brownie batter and fold in peanut butter chips, miniature marshmallows, and semi-sweet chips to boost both texture and flavor.
- Use melted bittersweet chocolate combined with butter to form the base of the batter for a deep chocolate flavor.
- After baking and cooling, top with a simple frosting made from milk chocolate chips and creamy peanut butter — just melt and spread, then chill until set.
